I think that's what we say - by spending as little as possible on our Very Big Day.
We moved at the end of last year & the new house (although liveable) needs a fair bit of modernisation. Therefore we simply don't have thousands of pounds to throw at our wedding.
The reception is going to be here at home in our lovely roomy new garden. I'm just working out how we're going to seat & shade/shelter our guests for the afternoon. It has crossed my mind that a beg, borrow, steal approach to tables & chairs from closest friends nearby may be the most favourable option. Thus leaving more spare funds for alcohol & all the reception trimmings ;o)
I'm gathering my best-friend hens in a weeks time for a drinks night in to muse some seating, catering & entertainment ideas. After all - its not what you know, but WHO!
